Yovena Pierre-Louis
Yovena Pierre-Louis, the founder of Woman Of Sychar Ministry, is a woman on a mission to transform lives and inspire hope. Her journey began in Haiti, where she was raised in a loving family, and later led her to the United States in pursuit of a better life. With a background in early childhood education and a deep understanding of psychology and biblical studies, Yovena’s calling is to empower women, support children, and uplift single mothers on their path to realizing their true potential. Established in 2020, Woman Of Sychar Ministry is Yovena’s brainchild, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of women, children, and single mothers both locally and internationally. This nonprofit organization serves as a beacon of hope, providing shelter, vital resources, and education to combat poverty and empower these individuals to become the best versions of themselves.
Yovena’s unwavering commitment to her cause has manifested in numerous ways. For nearly a decade, she owned and operated a daycare facility in Bridgeport, CT, where she not only provided a safe haven for children but also played a crucial role in assisting single mothers in finding employment. Her impact doesn’t stop there; Yovena has also dedicated herself to educating young minds in Bridgeport Public Schools in CT, Charter Schools in CT, and school districts in PA. Yovena’s educational journey is as diverse as her life experiences. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Children’s Studies, a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies, and a Master’s in Education. However, perhaps her most cherished role is being the loving mother of two sons, Anthony and Jeremiah.
